Log into the web interface of your Synology NAS as administrator with your browser:
After the successful login, click "File Station" on the left side.
Open the menu "Create" and click on "Create New Shared Folder"
In the new window type in "OnlineBackup" as the name and press "OK".
Grant the "read/write" permission on the user "admin" and click on "Advanced privileges".
Activate all options and press "OK".
Under "File Station" do a right click on the new folder "OnlineBackup" and click on "Properties".
Notice the location, which is displayed in the new window (default value is "/volume1/OnlineBackup"). This value is required by the next step.
Upload the previously downloaded file over the "File Station" and "Upload - Skip" into the folder "OnlineBackup".
Choose the previously downloaded file (latest.zip) and press "OK" to upload it.
Write down all folders you desire to include in your online backup. This specification is required by the next step.
