Heartbleed – Vulnerability in OpenSSL
The Heartbleed Bug is a serious vulnerability in the popular OpenSSL cryptographic software library. This weakness allows stealing the information protected, under normal conditions, by the SSL/TLS encryption used to secure the Internet. SSL/TLS provides communication security and privacy over the Internet for applications such as web, email, instant messaging (IM) and some virtual private networks (VPNs).
Shortly after the publication of the necessary patch, all our services, including all KVM- or Linux vServer- based customer servers with Maintenance have been updated. Our other customers, which could have been affected, have been contacted individually.

Even though we have no signs, that our infrastructure has been compromised in any way, we do suggest, that you change your passwords, not just for our services but for all on-line services you use.
