If you start Thunderbird the first time, the account setup assissant should appear. In this case move on to Step 2. If you are already using Thunderbird, follow the instructions below.

In the menu Edit click on Account Settings...

Open the menu Account Actions in the bottom left corner and click on Add Mail Account...
